Location: Remote within the US
Job Title: Strategic Alliances and Partnerships Intern
Job Description:
As the Strategic Alliance Business Development Intern, you will support the team with managing existing partnerships, driving new opportunities, shaping agreements, resolving business issues, and setting up business processes as needed. This is a global team that is a leading contributor to Transact’s overall success. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a passion for connecting with people, empathy, and a drive to learn more about strategic alliances and how to work with a sales team.
What You'll Learn:
- Project, relationship and partner management with a focus on our PRM system
- Ins and outs of alliance management including, but not limited to structuring agreements and running quarterly business reviews (QBRs)
- How to hold a global perspective in a rapidly growing team
- Effective communication within a corporate setting
- Marketing efforts that push our strategic partnerships
Job Responsibilities:
- Support back-office work (coordination, organization, follow-up)
- Support reporting and tracking for ongoing projects
- Assist with managing for our Partner Relationship Management (PRM) platform
- Act as a liaison with our Marketing Department, Legal and Product teams
Preferred Education and/or Experience:
- Working on a bachelor’s degree or higher in Communication, Marketing, Business, or other related disciplines
- Interest in strategic alliances, partnerships or business development space
- Clear and concise communication is a must
- Curiosity and an innate desire to learn with a growth mindset
- Ability to collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Confidence to push our teams by asking challenging questions to help us evolve
- Microsoft Office Suite experience is a plus (Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with PRM or CRM (HubSpot) platforms are a plus
- Any experience in business development, relationship or account management are a plus
